City library is one of my favorite places in Gothenburg. I hope soon after covid-19 crisis is under control it will be open in all areas. So many books, movies and music for one lifetime...free at our hands!!!

Located at a very central location in the city and is reachable very easily. Very nice place to spend some time especially for the silent readers. Thesis writing student should avail this facility. Trams and buses are available all the time just outside the library and there are several eating places nearby as well.
That was awesome. I could find lots of great books with different languages there.
Wonderful collection of arts books, CDs and awesome CD player to listen music. Best place to spend time to make a day.
This is my favourite library in town!! It's very big and has alot of choices but also a comfortable atmosphere, alot of helpful staff, a couple of inbuilt cafes and tend to have lots of programs when there isn't a pandemic. My favourite section is the basement where there's lots of manga, comic books, the cafe roots, video games, dvds, boardgames, tv's you can borrow and play games on and a diy section for youngsters. The last 2 are closed for now due to the pandemic but the rest are there!

Modern structure, elegant furnishing, a diverse selection of books in several languages. There's a good mix of visitors: local, international, old, and young. But I hate it when it's crowded and I get to sit by a wobbly table with a bunch of drunkards roaming around me causing trouble. And why are there so many out-of-tune concerts going on in the background? There are enough entertainment facilities nearby for that already ffs
